A Modern-Inspired Wedding That Took Place at Monet Vineyards and Red Barn Villa

Katya and David

This modern-inspired wedding was everything except stressful. One thing that Katya did not fail in doing, was planning enough time in between each activity so she and David had enough time to relax. Katya and David also chose to have 3 different locations on their wedding day. Each location was for a different activity.

The entire wedding party stayed at the AC Hotel Marriott Vancouver Waterfront for the weekend. On the day of the wedding, the entire wedding party got ready at the hotel, and the bride and groom did a first look! It was a great start to the hot day in Vancouver. This is why planning enough time in between activities on your wedding day is so important. First looks should be added to your day, along with time to get from one location to the other.

After the bride and groom’s first look, the wedding party traveled to their next location, Monet Vineyards. At the Vineyard, we took wedding party photos and bridal portraits. It was the perfect location for these group photos. Monet Vineyards is actually a venue that does not host large parties. You can rent out the space for 2 hours at a time, so it’s a great European-inspired house in the PNW for your group photos and bridal party photos! Always be sure to plan enough time to travel between locations. This is really important for how smoothly and stress-free your day goes!

After their bridal party photos, the bride and groom wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading to their wedding ceremony. They chose Five Guys Burgers and Fries. It made for a super fun break, eating in their wedding attire and making sure to prioritize their needs on their wedding day.

The last location that they went to was Red Barn Villa for their actual wedding ceremony. Katya and David did not have a very big wedding party. They did not have a maid of honor or best man. They really prioritized their needs during their wedding day and it made for a stressful free and super fun day! As your wedding photographer, I urge you to schedule more time between activities and traveling to create a stress-free wedding day.

If you are interested in having your wedding in Oregon, Red Barn Villa has a gorgeous garden setting that has a fountain, a modern barn, an outdoor area and so much more! You can read more about Red Barn Villa and other venues on 15 of the Best Wedding Venues and Elopement Locations in Oregon.
